I’m based in Chicago, where I live with my Bernedoodle Makenzie. I run two heart-inspired spiritual businesses:
Akashic Love and Light, where I offer Akashic Record readings, energetic clearings, guided meditations, and trainings.
The Green Witch Apothecary, a product-based brand where I make crystal-infused candles and seasonal products to add a spark of magic to your life.

I’m also a photographer, traveler, and lifelong learner, always seeking wisdom through new cultures and spiritual teachings.

My Journey to the Records

From a young age, I could sense and communicate with spirits. Growing up in an active house and being highly sensitive, this ability often felt more like a burden than a gift. I tried to shut it out, but the spirit world never really let me. I had many experiences especially as a child and even as an adult that were scary, so naturally, I didn’t want to explore Mediumship as a gift. I didn’t understand it and couldn’t control it.  Over time, I began to understand what once was overwhelming, actually was trying to  point me toward something much deeper. A deeper connection with myself and Spirit. 

One of the most pivotal moments in my life happened when I lost my boyfriend unexpectedly. The grief was so deep that it changed my entire perspective on life. In that period of loss, I started asking bigger questions and realized just how disconnected and unfulfilled my life had been. It felt like my life had no clear purpose or meaning, but my soul knew there had to be more.

That moment sparked a complete transformation. I began meditating, practicing Reiki, and energy healing. I changed everything, my habits, my lifestyle (I even quit caffeine, alcohol, and  became vegan), I began clearing my life from anything that no longer felt aligned. Life is a work in progress and I find myself reviewing this part of the spiritual journey quite often. 

Then I discovered the Akashic Records. I heard about them, but didn’t expect taking a training on them would be so life changing. 

Through meditation and, later, a prayer process, I learned how to open the Records for myself and for others. What started as casual readings for friends to practice, turned into something much bigger. I started to get referrals from friends and relatives. From there I created an explanation of what the Records are to text people what to expect. Then I started a very basic website.  In the beginning it happened really quickly. 

The sessions were so amazing. Things I didn’t even understand would come through that I had no way of knowing.  My understanding of energy, people, soul patterns and even god changed dramatically. I built this entire reading business through word of mouth and I really enjoy helping people.

The Akashic Records became the bridge between my gifts, my healing, and my purpose.

Mediumship, Trust & True Purpose

Another piece of my journey was finally embracing my mediumship abilities without fear or hesitation. After years of fearing and avoiding them, I learned to trust what I was receiving, and to work with it in a way that felt safe, sacred, and empowering. Now I understand there is nothing to be afraid of,  I would never trade my sensitive nature or gifts but I’ve learned to embrace it.

I’ve attended workshops and classes both locally and abroad to refine my skills and deepen my connection with Spirit. Now, I use mediumship in my sessions to help clients connect with their loved ones and receive healing messages from the other side. Helping others find peace and resolution through the readings felt good.

Why I Do This Work

Starting Akashic Love and Light wasn’t just a business decision, it was a soul-level decision, a passion.
I asked the Universe to let me be of service, and it answered, fast. I never planned on leaving my job either. But the path led me in that direction. 

Through the Akashic Records, I’ve gained access to a source of wisdom, clarity, and healing that continues to amaze me every single day. It’s helped me uncover my true purpose, heal and grow,  now, I get to help others do the same.

Professional Bio – Christine Zenino

Christine Zenino is a spiritual practitioner with certifications in a wide range of healing modalities. She is a Certified Akashic Records Practitioner and Instructor through the Linda Howe Center for Akashic Studies and holds credentials in Past Life Regression from the Edgar Cayce Institute. Christine has trained in Evidential and Trance Mediumship at the Arthur Findlay College and with many internationally recognized mediums.

She is also a Certified Usui Reiki Master (Levels I–III), a Certified Sound Healing Practitioner (Harmonic Waves Healing), a Certified Life Coach, and a Meditation Instructor through Meditation Magazine/University. Christine also holds a Yoga Nidra Teacher Certification through Vinyasa Yogashala.

Christine earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and spent over 15 years leading professional development and training as a Human Resources Coordinator for Whole Foods Market’s Regional Office.
